THE TRIP IS ON!
1/5/12 -
We dreamed about travelling around Australia one day, so when Hannah came along we thought "it should be easy to travel with a baby in Australia" and started planning a trip.
The original plan was to buy a motor home and spend 6 months exploring the sunburnt country. Several months of sleep deprivation soon made us realise this trip might not be as easy as we thought. However the dream wouldn't fade.
We talked about it and eventually decided we would buy a smaller van and spend just a couple of months travelling instead. So we bought a Mitsubishi Delica and waited for the go ahead from Hannah's doctor.
Well we finally got the OK last week, so this week we have started kitting out the van and mentally preparing ourselves for the trip ahead.
We are not sure when we will start, how far we will get or how long we will go for. The only thing for sure is that we will start and we will be heading north of Sydney.
So keep on eye out for updates as we realise another dream with "3 in a Van".

Don't tell me you caught that shark mate. And the gas cylinder sitting under the 'Delica', tell me that was planned photo.
